My passion for Wildlife photography started from a keen interest in local wildlife and my enjoyment of gardening for wildlife. Currently I am developing my own garden for wildlife whilst trying to retain its family use and attractiveness. During this process I have been keeping a regular blog and photographic record of my garden project, which show my plans, thought processes and of course the practical work involved. With lots of wildlife now visiting the garden, photographing it was a natural progression that has opened up a whole new world to me!

HIGGY'S GARDEN PROJECT (GARDENING FOR WILDLIFE)

Here is a safe link through to my 'Garden Project' blog where you will find photographs of past and present projects along with some instruction and of course plenty of photographs of the wonderful wildlife that has visited the garden so far!

Amazingly this blog was recently picked up by BBC researchers and in July the garden was featured in the SPRINGWATCH SPECIAL about moths and butterflies!!! This was really exciting for me and gave the chance to promote wildlife and gardening for wildlife to a wider audience!

'HIGGY'S NORTH SOMERSET WILDLIFE ADVENTURES'

This blog really is a 'tongue in cheek' look at some of the funnier moments that I've had whilst out watching wildlife.

WARNING... If you open up this blog be prepared for some madness and fun as is intended!! Hopefully looking at the 'lighter side' of wildlife watching will make you smile also.

I hope that you enjoy my blogs and of course my garden! I also hope that it inspires you to garden for wildlife yourself or at least go out in your immediate area where you live and discover what wonderful wildlife is right on your own doorstep!!....

Cheers

Higgy
